This tour includes the best of everything Japan has to offer. It is designed for newcomers to Japan who want first class hotels and follows a leisurely pace starting with 3 full days in Kyoto and Nara. There are no one night stays and your luggage is sent by courier between each location.
We have a special treat at the start of the tour, when we witness one of Japan's most famous festivals. Jidai Matsuri, is a costume procession though the streets from the Imperial Palace to Heian Shrine, celebrating Kyoto's history as the ancient capital in the Meiji and Heian periods.
The tour finishes with a spectacular 'farewell dinner' where you will be entertained by a private geisha performance. One geisha will perform traditional dances while another accompanies her on traditional instruments. You will have a chance to find our about the real life of a geisha and take those magical photos.
