The tour exceeded expectations. It was varied and helped to provide an overall impression of a very different culture. I was also surprised by the physical beauty of some of the places that we visited. The back-up lectures were informative and pointed towards future reading.

The organisation of the tour was extremely good, especially the complex travel arrangements, which all worked perfectly. We felt very well looked after throughout!
Megumi san was incredible. Amusing, entertaining, caring, unflappable and thoroughly organised and professional throughout.

Having got over my jetlag in record time, I wanted to lose no time in writing to thank you for the fantastic success of the tour. It could not have been better planned or more meticulously executed. The impressions and memories will stay with me for ever. For such a short stay, the range of experiences really did encompass so many splendours. Megumi was a wonder: intelligent and articulate, enthusiastic and well-informed, unfailingly cheerful, and always sensitively aware and ready to cope with the individual requirements of our fairly disparate group. Arthur Stockwin's scholarly expositions were a bonus.

The tour was superb. We covered a lot of ground and saw and experienced an enormous amount. All the travel arrangements were meticulously carried out; everything went extremely smoothly...
