Benten No Yado Ryokan, Miyajima
Benten no Yado Itsukushima is located near Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Hiroshima, West Japan.
The Benten no Yado mixes the styles of both ryokan and hotel, making it a relaxing place to stay. It has excellent traditional Japanese cuisine but western style breakfasts are also offered.
Natural hot spring water fills the various hot spring baths, or onsen. There are outdoor onsen for guests to reserve for private use as well as the more traditional single sex communal onsen for braver guests looking for a more authentic Japanese experience.
The landmark gate of the shrine can be seen from the guest rooms on the seaside.
